Larry Nance, Jr's Short Film Documenting His Return to Cleveland
Woodward Original recently put out the following short documentary, which in less than 12 minutes, weaves together the journey of the 6'9" forward out of Akron, Ohio.
A staple of the youth movement in Los Angeles for almost the past three years, Nance, Jr found himself competing with LeBron James on the biggest stage after a trade at the deadline earlier this year.
The doc touches on the intricacies of family, patience, perseverance, and triumph. If you're an NBA fan, there's parts of this story you may already know but I guarantee it'll still be worth your while.
No matter of your opinion of Nance before watching this (although you can't not like the guy), you'll find yourself rooting for him as he heads into his 4th season next year.
Shout out to director Anthony Bommarito and the team that put this together. You can check out there other work here.
