The stage is set!

The #1 seed Boston Celtics & #5 seed Dallas Mavericks will battle it out for the 2024 Larry O’Brien trophy. Though it was expected for Boston to reach this point, especially given the injury status of their opponents this postseason, it was. impressive to see them maintain composure and take care of basically every situation to this point. Even without Kristaps Porzingis, the C’s have looked unbeatable over a seven-game stretch.

They haven’t run to the buzzsaw led by Luka Doncic & Kyrie Irving though. On paper, Luka & Kyrie is a legendary offensive pairing. This postseason both have already had star-driven performances to push Dallas to the final round. In last night’s clincher v. Minnesota, Luka & Kyrie combined for over 70 points. No matter how balanced and explosive as Boston’s lineup iss, they can’t allow Luka & Kyrie’s energy to inspire the rest of their teammates.

All in all, it’s going to be an exciting Finals. For neutral fans, a 6-7 game series is the goal.
