Grizzlies Shut Down Mike Conley Jr. For Rest of Season
Out since Nov. 13th, it doesn't look like we'll see Mike Conley Jr. til next fall.
According to GM Chris Wallace, the Grizzlies will shut down Conley Jr. for the rest of this season after surgery on his left heel:
At 17-31, the Grizz are nowhere near playoff contention - is it time for them to entertain offers for Marc Gasol? Or try and pry away a 1st-round pick for red-hot reclamation project Tyreke Evans?
As the trade deadline approaches, look for Memphis to be sellers, a few of their veterans garnering key interest.
Conley Jr., 30, has career averages of 14.3 points, 5.7 dimes & 2.9 boards.
