Nickeil Alexander-Walker took a nice step forward during his sophomore year in New Orleans. He upped his scoring from 5.7 ppg as a rook to 11/night, playing just under 22 minutes/game. Alexander-Walker appeared a lot more comfortable as an attacker & shooter this past season.

His ability to hesitate & hunt for scores* - midrange jumpers, lefty lays, “hang time” baskets near the rim, etc. - is an area for New Orleans to further exploit moving forward (will continue to evolve as a playmaker/”last-minute” distributor).

Alexander-Walker is key for NOP’s success in 2022.
