Tracking...Jeremy Lamb (GM. 1 of 4 • 11/20-11/26)

Subject: J. Lamb

Week of 11/20 • v. MIN, v. WAS, @ CLE, @ SAS

When Nicolas Batum returned on Nov. 15th, Jeremy Lamb moved to Steve Clifford's second unit - will he continue his hot start to the season and contribute in a similar fashion w/ (potentially) less reps & opportunity?

Thru 16 games, J. Lamb is avg. a career-best 16 ppg to go along w/ 5.1 rebounds - a shot creator by trade, Lamb is passing better (3.1 apg) and shooting the three ball at a desired clip (41%).

With reduced minutes on the horizon, can Lamb stay engaged and contribute however necessary?

GAME 1 of 4

11/20 V. MIN • W, 118-102

16 pts (6/9 shooting), 5 boards, 3 dimes, +11

CHA picked up its second straight W thanks (in part) to a very strong performance off the bench.

Lamb played a nice role - in just 21 minutes, he scored 16 points, pulled down 5 rebounds & dished out 3 dimes. MIN's defense didn't offer much resistance, as Lamb consistently got clean looks working off bigs and creating for himself.

Quick Notes

• Played primarily w/ an all-bench lineup of M. Carter-Williams (1), D. Bacon (3), F. Kaminsky (4) & C. Zeller -- lineup produced 23 pts in 10 min. but made just 1 triple & had 5 dimes v. 5 TOs

• Nice pairing w/ M. Carter-Williams & D. Bacon -- young trio w/ size and nice potential defensively; Lamb is the best shot generator of the 3, through D. Bacon projects as a better transition finisher & M. Carter-Williams might be most comfortable pushing the break; CHA to play w/ pace when all three are in lineup?

• J. Lamb: made 1/4 triples, got to line 3 times (made 'em all)

• J. Lamb + C. Zeller + F. Kaminsky = success? Lamb gave C. Zeller a nice feed for dunk in the 1Q. And later, Lamb found F. Kaminsky (led all bench scorers w/ 24 pts) for a wide open triple following a misdirection side PnR:

His familiarity w/ both Zeller & Kaminsky will lead plenty of chances for dump offs & pop-back threes.
