NBA ROLE: ATHLETIC, DEFENSIVE-MINDED 5

A 2018 second-rounder, Mitchell Robinson is a great athlete w/ incredible instincts (& explosion) as a shot-blocker & on the glass; rangy defender - supreme length helps Robinson cover plenty of ground closing out to shooters, defending PnR & chasing down shots - (raw) ability to control possessions, nice anticipation going after misses on offense; PG’s best friend off screens - Robinson’s a threat up top (unbelievable range), must continue developing moves after catching + outside Js; versatile: can play v. (both) big + small lineups; needs to continue getting stronger, learn to avoid foul trouble; one of the league leaders in field goal percentage, almost exclusively scores in the paint at this stage; oft-injured: when healthy, Robinson anchors the middle: Mitch is looking to help lead New York to a title run in 2025
