The 2nd overall pick in 2020, James Wiseman is a lefty big w/ solid, short production; athletic pivot w/ nice offensive skills - great rum runner & budding shooter from midrange/distance - high-release on lefty J, likes to launch from straightaway*; has shown comfortability facing the rim - Wiseman has a few different options: mid J, drive & score or finding open cutters & shooters; continuing to improve playmaking ability (especially outta double teams) adds another strong element to his game; “catch & finish badge” on 2K: lob threat, has nice hands - still adding more hooks & counters; missed all of GSW’s championship season (due to injury) in ‘21-’22; signed w/ Pacers (2024): tore Achilles’ in the 1st game of 2024-25 season - on the mend following season-ending surgery
