The Brooklyn Nets were dealt a rough blow during the 4th quarter of last night's game v. Indy.
On a normal drive to the basket, starting guard Jeremy Lin fell awkwardly, immediately clutching his knee and uttering, "I'm done." The official diagnosis? A ruptured patellar tendon, which will require surgery & (effectively) end his season.
Not only is Lin's injury devastating to BKN's playoff hopes, he was developing a nice rhythm (under Kenny Atkinson), aimed to bounce back after a being banged up (almost) all of last year - played just 36 games in 2017-18.
Lin, 29, has career averages of 12 points & 4.5 assists.
