According to reports, LeBron James is a game-time decision for tonight's Opening Day contest v. Boston.
LeBron sat out all but one preseason game (v. Chicago) the past couple weeks, so no surprise to see him on the injury report.
It'd be a mild shocker if LeBron doesn't play (and dominate?) but if he can't give it a go, Cleveland has a few diff. ways to shuffle around the starting 5:
J. Green • at SF opposite J. Tatum or G. Hayward; Bron's primary backup at full strength; spends time at 3-4 (or 5?), can (potentially) score in the teens or beyond
T. Thompson • at C opposite A. Horford, sliding K. Love to 4, J. Crowder to 3; returns to familiar role, provides rebounding & (switch) defense from the jump
JR Smith • at SF opposite either J. Tatum or G. Hayward; adds threes, takes away some scoring outta second unit
--UPDATE: LeBron's playing!
