George Hill • J.R. Smith • Rodney Hood
LeBron James • Larry Nance Jr.
Not bad at all. We love to overreact to every Cavs game but...is this a more optimal starting five moving forward? One that caters to more transition scoring, shooting & features athletes?
It's hard to say right now but game #1 went well.
The main beneficiary of the lineup change was L. Nance Jr., who poured in a monster double-double: 22 & 15! boards (in 31 minutes). Lack of size may be a problem defending the interior but he'll see plenty of easy looks by simple, post-lane sprinting & running the floor.
LeBron did his thing, per usual in CLE's blowout win over DET (112-90) last night: 31, 7 & 7 dimes.
Their next test will come @ DEN this Wednesday.
- How does L. Nance Jr. matchup w/ N. Jokic?
- Can CLE contain G. Harris & J. Murray?
- Will CLE hit more triples than DEN, win the board battle?
CLE's bench - ft. Jordan Clarkson, Cedi Osman & Kyle Korver - could quickly become a consistent, high impact group. Let's see if they build upon momentum from the lineup change.
