After arriving in PHX via trade this past December, Kelly Oubre Jr. saw an uptick in production across the board.
With more opportunity, his evolution as a scorer is taking place. Off the dribble, Oubre Jr.’s able to attack the left side and rise for floaters & quick runners. He’s gotten a lot craftier shifting around defenders and finishing at the basket once there’s an opening.
Once PHX continues adding more pieces, particularly another open court decision-maker, Kelly can focus on providing consistent, complimentary support for Devin Booker moving forward.
Heading into Year 5, Oubre Jr. could develop into a key two-way player for the Suns.
