LEBRON JAMES TO THE LAKERS!
After all of the rumors, LeBron has decided to call LA home the next 4 years (& beyond?).
According to reports, LeBron & his management team sat down w/ Magic Johnson & Lakers GM Rob Pelinka late last night - the decision was made around midday Pacific time, giving plenty of time for reactions + "welcome" messages:
Though some saw it coming, it's crazy to believe LeBron will don purple & gold this fall. Instantly, LA is set to contend for titles & returns as a nightly, must-see draw.
The roster is already filling out - Lakers reached verbal agreements with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope*, LANCE STEPHENSON & JAVALE MCGEE to join LeBron in LA.
Kudos to Magic for delivering on his promise to sign a major free agent - just so happened to coup the game's best player.
Just like that, the Lakers are back.
*re-signed to a 1 yr/$12 million deal
