Tracking...Jeremy Lamb (GM. 2 of 4 • 11/20-11/26)

Subject: J. Lamb

Focus: off bench for CHA in wake of N. Batum’s return

Week of 11/20 • v. MIN, v. WAS, @ CLE, @ SAS

When Nicolas Batum returned on Nov. 15th, Jeremy Lamb moved to Steve Clifford's second unit - will he continue his hot start to the season and contribute in a similar fashion w/ (potentially) less reps & opportunity?

GAME 2 OF 4

11/22 V. WAS • W, 129-124 (OT)

24 pts (9/17 shooting), 7 boards, 5 dimes (37 min.), +26

Jeremy Lamb was a key factor in Charlotte's OT victory a couple days ago.

Alongside an all-bench unit of Michael Carter-Williams, Dwayne Bacon, Frank Kaminsky & Cody Zeller, Lamb started off hot (13 1H points*), was aggressive each time he touched the ball - it led to PT with unit 1, helped CHA stay in the mix at halftime.

After N. Batum was ruled out for the rest of the game (elbow), Lamb started the third and seamlessly transitioned w/ first group. Key buckets down the stretch of the 4th (& OT) gave CHA the extra scoring punch to complement both Dwight Howard (26 & 13 boards) & Kemba Walker (24, 5 & 5 dimes).

*including but not limited to: FTs, two elbow triples (one pull-up), jumper off curl

QUICK NOTES

• Lamb is back in Steve Clifford's starting five if N. Batum misses extended time - CHA's on a 3-gm. winning streak: can Lamb provide complementary, 2-way, play @ CLE & @ SAS later this week?; much more engaged defender than in previous years - helped force WAS into difficult looks by rotating & (later) finishing plays w/ boards

• J. Lamb: made 3/8 triples, got to line 3 times (made 'em all) - shooting ; reached highest point total since Nov. 3 (27 pts)

• Finished w/ 5 dimes + 3 blocks - did well focusing on two areas of improvement: moving the ball & using length to affect more shots

Next: 11/24 @ CLE

Later this Week: @ SAS
