Dario Saric

Focus: rebounding, outside shooting, complementary scoring

• The final game of Saric's (two-game) tracking assignment.

GAME 2 OF 2

12/15 V. OKC • L, 119-117

16 pts (7/16 shooting), 8 boards, 4 dimes

Dario Saric played 49! min. in PHI's triple-OT defeat v. OKC this past Friday. It also marked one of at the few times the Sixers had their regular starting five executing down the stretch of a close game.

Saric benefitted from the "full" lineup, received very clean looks for the majority of the night. He actually left a few threes on the board - only connected on 2/9 - if his shot was falling, PHI may have coming away w/ victory. All the while, the attn on Saric, for the most part, wasn't really there.

His size played a key role v. OKC and will continue as a recurring theme moving forward - it allows Saric to grab boards in traffic (8 on the night, avg. 7 over both games), convert simple feeds in the lane & post up/keep hands high for quick scores.

It didn't result in victory on Friday but Saric is playing the role of (Undisputed) X-Factor well.

QUICK TAKEAWAY

Dario Saric has a strong hold as Philly's third option & Undisputed X-Factor.

However, it's still a work in progress in terms of familiarity & consistency w/ teammates. But once shot distribution and roles are further ironed out, we'll see a jump in efficiency.
