A 6’4, Seattle-bred guard w/ a slippery handle, Murray has grown into an extremely effective, all-around lead guard in the Asscociation; though a bit slight, Murray features a tight dribble, can get to the rim, push the. break & hit the open man in transition; long strides – converts tricky layups on the inside using his wingspan to (hang and) get around shot-blockers; solid float game, uses size to get in the lane & finish amongst the trees; very strong defender*: incredible backcourt rebounder, plays passing lanes, moves well laterally; always looking to quicken pace, convert TOs into points; has rounded out all aspects of his game: Murray’s a nightly triple-double threat who makes a strong impact in every area; 2022 All-Star!, Dejounte’s earned Top DOG status – traded to Hawks (2022) – dynamic backcourt w/ Trae Young, can the pair help lead a playoff run in 2024?
