Garrison Mathews: 2019 A-Sun Player of the Year who’s emerging into a true wing scorer; very accurate outside shooter, can rise into looks or catch & shoot (deeeep range) - comfortable on the move, doesn’t mind a hard contest; can put the ball down & score off closeouts, must continue working on counters off the dribble; decent finisher near the rim; has to display ability to stay w/ larger guards & forwards - respectable defense will lead to more minutes; traded to Hawks (2023) - Mathews could gain standing as a “utility” shooter in Coach Snyder’s rotation
