Jalen Johnson is a supremely talented forward w/ a new wave game; can handle, attack in transition & score on multiple levels; great athlete w/ a vast dunk zone, can soar up top, off vert - always goes up w/ bad intentions; shoots a bit a of deliberate set shot, needs to work on speeding up release (will lead to greater volume as he progresses); a bit of a throwback on the glass: Johnson utilizes great anticipation and athleticism to secure possessions; could become a terror defensively: active hands, aggressive as a rim protector; hybrid forward/playmaker in ATL: Johnson likes to find teammates for scores, but can also take it on his on w/ hanging runners & shots below the three-point line; enters 2025-26 as a Top DOG after a near-star turn* in 2025: Johnson’s one of the league’s most varied forwards, can he reach All-Star status & help ATL contend in 2026?
