A ridiculously athletic wing, Norman Powell makes an incredible difference on both sides of the ball; rough defender & vicious finisher in the open court, loves storming the basket with aggression but won’t jack up a bad shot if there’s not a clear opening; swift penetrator, can get to the rim off a couple bounces & rise into a dunk w/o much separation from defenders; ok playmaker: drives to score but can find bigs in the lane; confident outside scorer, can put up points in a hurry: much-improved pull-up shooter, pretty solid from the right corner - good elevation w/ a consistent release point; turned the corner as a valuable, two-way contributor - Powell’s effective in any situation, plays well off established talent; traded to hometown Clippers (2022) - super scorer for Coach Lue, whether as a starter or off the pine: playoff success w/ LAC coming soon?
