Jarred Vanderbilt possesses lots of natural talent & athleticism, yet hustles & values dirty work; tries to go after any rebound in (or near) his zone - bouncy, always in the mix for tip-ins, slams & oops - ball seems to find him; lefty attacker, does his best work near the rim & filling the break; long limbs, must master catch & finishing; very good defender: energetic, doesn’t give up on plays - utilizes length to frustrate opposing players; decent floater, mainly comes off drives to his dominant side; Vanderbilt’s not much of a shooter at the moment, must work on corner & straightaway range; career year in ‘21-’22, has gradually become a highly coveted big: hard worker, features a style of play that is conducive to success; traded to Lakers (2023), Vando could unlock even more of his game playing in LA
