Skylar Mays has the makings of a long-term NBA PG; 6’4 guard who’s always looking to make a play (on both ends of the floor); talented going to the rim - go-to spin move, has a ton of finishes/floaters in the paint; able to make an impact on the game without having the ball 24/7 - Mays hustles defensively, rebounds well outta the backcourt & is effective spotting up & creating avenues off ball; very controlled decision-maker; pretty good pull-up shooter: 35-37% is an early goal; played great in Portland to cap off 2022-23, later parlayed his strong play into a 2Way contract w the Lakers (2024)
