Drafted 10th overall outta Stanford in 2021, Ziaire Williams has undeniable upside - athletic 3-point scorer w/ multi-level potential on the perimeter; immediate contributor as a rookie: Williams found an early rotation role as a critical 3&D forward under Coach Jenkins; strong defensive prospect: Williams got great experience in his 1st year checking different matchups, has the athleticism & anticipation (causes lots of steals & deflections) to admirably defend 1-4; rainbow three-point shooter - Williams has a great release point, is comfortable spotting up and stepping into treys (working on better accuracy as his role expands); good pull-up scorer off the bounce, can attack the rim and finish w/ huge slams if the jumper isn’t there; needs to continue tightening his handle & adding strength to his frame; on UnderDOG/Future Top DOG border; should have plenty of early chances to re-joining the rotation in 2024: Williams is evolving his game while playing an instrumental role on a young, title-worthy team
