Baltimore’s Haywood Highsmith adds real intangibles in Miami; fits into Miami’s defensive culture: Highsmith accepts difficult, individual matchups and looks to turn steals into points; does more than a decent job at defending the basket for a 6’5 (all-around) forward; likes to find buckets off cuts; solid from outside - shoots a push shot three-pointer (looks like he’s shooting w/ one hand) that he’s comfortable with from nearly every part beyond the arc; can find the open man, though not much of a true play initiator for others; needs to improve pull-up game from midrange; ready to go whenever Coach Spo needs him
