Bobby Portis: an energetic, fiery four man; since coming outta Arkansas in 2015, BP has shown a lot of talent offensively: comfortable facing up, features a reliable jumper (w/ an excellent touch) that extends to three-point land; has learned to settle down & take better shots, improvises OTD (turnarounds & hooks) & if action breaks down (fake handoff --> midrange J); accurate shooter post-screens, raised three-point volume & accuracy to very respectable levels; really likes fighting in the trenches for boards – BP’s a putback specialist (loves to flex after converting), crashes hard & comes away with at least 8 boards/night; defense is much improved in MIL’s system, plays a very efficient brand of basketball on both ends of the floor – excels at providing a flurry of points outta #unit 2*; Portis is an integral member of the lineup – NBA Champ! – played huge minutes during Milwaukee’s title victory in 2021: perfect Sixth Man for the Bucks
