JAE CROWDER (MIL)
SALTY DOG
NBA ROLE: TWO-WAY FORWARD
Much like fellow 2012 draftee Draymond Green (GSW), Jae Crowder is an undersized-written off-former second round forward who’s exceeded expectations in the NBA; consistent source of energy & toughness, does not care for your personal space – sticky defender (normally in the mix for steals, deflections, blocks and loose balls); built like an NFL tight end – uses his strong frame to check larger fours & finish through contact; sells driving fouls well like most other Golden Eagles*; good shooter from downtown (reliable from corners & elbows) – contributes almost 3 triples/night; knows his role & plays it to a tee – fan favorite, huge boost to any lineup – Crowder’s physicality & constant effort helps set the tone; re-signed w/ Bucks (2023): borderline Hybrid – championship #1 soon come?
