JOE INGLES (MIN)
SALTY DOG
NBA ROLE: PLAYMAKING FORWARD
‘Jinglin‘ Joe Ingles is an integral play initiator in any system; good playmaker – crafty with the ball in his hands, controls action with a patient approach (exploits mismatches if there's an advantage), maneuvers body well to create seams via dribble handoffs; plays angles very well, slices passes thru the lane (after screens) or over the top – excellent lob passer; sports an unorthodox release on his jumper but Joe knocks them down at an elite clip (career 41% from 3), loves setting up shop in the corner + adjusts release point depending on space; needs to develop a few more shots live w/ a live dribble (deceptive pump fake opens up opps to score); FAR from a speed demon, though Joe is known to jingle his keys down broad street for slick finishes in the lane; decent defender, knows how to avoid fouls, normally brings a strong effort each night, does a bit of everything; signed w/ T-Wolves (2023) – stable, veteran playmaker when healthy
