Get familiar with Javonte Green: an explosive aerial threat & active defender; very physical on D, possesses the ability to check larger wings & forwards (doesn’t back down, has nice instincts & anticipation as a shot-blocker) - Green plays a lot of power forward despite only being listed at 6’4, takes the challenge of checking different assignments; on offense, Javonte is a reliable lane-filler/transition finisher: skies for big slams, takes advantage of any opportunity to bash - great lob option, flushes w/ power; easy rise - top-notch athlete w/ a decent 1st step, doesn’t need much to get by his man for a driving finish; needs to work on a few more go-to moves (below the rim) to complement natural gifts; 3-pt. shot is steadily improving, must prove capable of knocking em down when defenders key in on NOP’s top threats; real role player, fits in with any lineup - Green’s a utility wing/makeshift power forward who makes a mark w/ energy & activity on defense
