A 7’0 German pivot, Isaiah Hartenstein is a former G League MVP who’s found a steady role in the league; likes to slip & find an opening: very good hands, loves to go up w/ a soft touch and drop home floaters* after screening; can play inside-out (solid touch from deep, albeit on lower volume) - Hartenstein features an improved jumper but remains more comfortable finding buckets on the inside - likes various finishes off the catch (pretty crafty below the basket); needs to do more damage from the foul line extended - quickest way to minutes; underrated defender and rebounder, usually offers solid interior relief on both sides; signed w/ Knicks (2022) - Hartenstein’s a great source of points + boards for Coach Thibs
