Gary Harris checks multiple boxes at the 2 – good scorer & athlete, plays defense + fills the break; moonlights as a creator & off-ball sensation: great cutter/mover without the rock – Gary lurks baseline and sneaks in for easy shots; perfect for an uptempo style: loves to get out and run – sequence defender (gets low, plays passing lanes), frequently turns steals into easy fast break opportunities; able to generate some offense below the three-point line – should work on drawing more fouls & half court playmaking; pretty decent finisher – huge mitts: able to shield the ball before releasing at the right moment; normally a good set shooter, stays ready from the elbow & corner; when healthy, Harris’s game is defined by efficiency, does work in the flow of action; had a nice, bounce back in 2023 – G.
