GRAYSON ALLEN (PHX)
UNDERDOG
NBA ROLE: ATHLETIC SHOOTER
Duke’s Grayson Allen provides spot-up shooting & transition finishing in the league; even if Allen can’t get his offensive game going in certain matchups, you can count on him for passion on the floor - features intangibles you want in a role player; very accurate outside shooter, good for at least a couple triples (whether starting or off the bench) - consistent form, exclusively sets up beyond the arc (loves the corner); not much of a playmaker but does well moving the ball; great athlete, will boom on any unsuspecting opponent - fills the lane w/ purpose on the break; slightly undersized at the two - Allen compensates by relying on speed & anticipation to make an imprint defensively; perpetually hovers around Star UnderDOG territory; starter in Phoenix: Allen consistently delivers in his role as an outside shooter/finisher
