Ish Wainwright: an experienced, utility forward (undrafted) outta Baylor; Wainright looks like an NFL linebacker*, tries to impose his strength on opponents when competing in the trenches for rebounds and defending in the paint; physical defense, controlling the glass & hitting open shots at a decent enough clip will create court time; likes to get opportunities from downtown (at either corner spot) - able to handle the pressure of accurate, spot shooting in Unit #2?; deceptively quick off the bounce, can put the ball down and finish in the lane w/ different moves under the rim; Wainright has his sights set on joining PHX’s rotation in 2025
