Jusuf Nurkic is a beast up front; very talented offensive player: quick hooks, sweeps down the lane, likes midrange shots but has power & a ton of skill; so what are his best qualities? Well, Nurkic is most comfortable as a scorer (confident, talks s***, knows he’s good), though stays aggressive on both ends; good shot-blocker but struggles to check better athletes & closing out to shooters; surprisingly agile on offense despite not getting much lift; much-improved passer – Nurk’s able to find cutters & shooters after posting; strong on the glass and in the middle (uses size to a tremendous advantage) – tries to MOVE guys and then place ‘feathery’ hooks in the basket; has extended range on J, able to score from every level; nightly double-double, inside scoring complement to KD, Beal & Book; key X-Factor for Coach Vogel: in 2024, a healthy & effective Nurkic makes Phoenix a title contender
