The 2018 Big 12 Player of the Year, Devonte’ Graham grew leaps and bounds over his first few seasons in the league - matured into basketball self (well-rounded scorer/playmaker at the 1); strong ball-handler w/ crafty hesitation moves & crossovers, able to navigate around defenders to create action; strong suit = high-volume, pull-up shooting, Graham has a lot of ways to score off the bounce; good passer: great in the open court (likes to dish w/ his left), knows how to orchestrate outta the PnR without turning it over; doesn’t have elite size, though quick enough to stick with most PGs - likes to dig in & frustrate opposing guards defensively - able to check explosive and/or larger guards?; assertive: confidence aids leadership - has learned to be more in command of game flow, picking spots when to attack & distribute; must continue getting stronger, prioritize efficiency & add a few more in-between shots to round out his game; traded to Spurs (2023) - young vet on Coach Pop’s rebuilding roster
