Former Georgetown center Ömer Yurtseven reinvented himself after leaving college - worked heavily on conditioning, is settling into a role as a productive rebounder & interior scorer; light touch in the lane, (more than) capable of converting short hooks off the roll: usually aggressive, has a few go-to moves after catching; dedicated rebounder w/ great volume - Yurt racks up boards using his size and activity to make an impact on both ends; (long range) jump shot is still a work in progress, though role as an inside threat seems to be set; effective rim protection will lead to an ever higher spot in the rotation; signed w/ Utah (2023): Yurtseven’s a great utility backup for Coach Hardy
