Jordan Poole is a super talented, scoring guard who’s rapidly improved into a designated, offensive weapon in the NBA; wide imagination as a scorer: Poole’s extremely fast off the initial step, can get to the rim and finish w/ a smooth lay-in or step back & hit from outside; bullseye outside shooter - no conscience, will launch w/ hand in his face when feeling it, can hit triples off his own creation, on the move (around screens) & spotting up - has picked up plenty of tricks to get open & separate from defenders; 3-level scorer: good athlete w/ a deep bag of dribble combos: Poole contributes buckets in the open court (likes to push the rock ahead with an advancing, in & out dribble) + frequently knocks down difficult 3s & midrange Js off his own action or following a nice set up; burgeoning curl scorer, must continue to develop float game and making the extra read; excellent foul shooter, usually rankks amongst the league’s best; in the process of becoming a better defender: adding more strength & further understanding of situational D will make a huge difference; has made great strides in terms of shot selection & efficiency, needs to focus on balancing playmaking as a #1 option; traded to Wiz (2023): Poole’s a huge part of the organization moving forward, honors his duty as a key scorer on a nightly basis - budding star w/ the upside to avg. 25+ points/night
