JJJ @ NYK (2/2) • 26! points, 10! rebounds, 2 blocks, W
Jaren Jackson Jr. played a huge role in Memphis’s 120-108 victory v. the Knicks in the Garden tonight.
JJJ had It going from beyond the arc, converting 4 of 7 triples - two of them coming in the 4th quarter as NYK started to make a late comeback. His 10 rebounds secured just the 9th double-double of his career - when JJJ is active on the glass, it helps spark a stronger defensive effort from the entire squad.
MVP candidate Ja Morant had 23, 9 dimes, 4 boards, 3 steals & his usual, highlight-worthy plays. Rookie Ziaire Williams (career-high 21 points, 4 boards & 3 dimes) and De’Anthony Melton (14 points, 4 triples off bench) did their thing as well. Memphis‘s young group is balanced with talent from multiple positions.
The Grizzlies currently sit at 36-18, 17-9 on the road - second best mark in the Western Conference.
