LeBron Passes Two Milestones During LAL's Impressive Victory Over Milwaukee

In Year 20, LeBron James continues to add to his amazing legacy. Last night, LeBron reached his 900th! career victory & also passed Magic Johnson for 6th place on the NBA’s All-Time Assists leaderboard. Both milestones are amazing in their own right but there’s definite symbolism in him reaching both in the same contest.

As a “pass-first” superstar, LeBron’s play style has always trended towards trusting teammates & making sure they’re involved - there’s lots of symmetry between it translating to a ton of wins throughout his career. Whether helping to elevate a less talented team or empowering & connecting with every player on the roster, his all-around impact as a distributor is truly unique.

LeBron’s Lakers seem to also be turning the corner as a team as well. It’s no hyperbole to Anthony Davis is playing at an MVP-level over the last few weeks (dropped 44! last night) and role players are settling into their, uh roles with both LeBron & AD in the lineup.

Despite going 7-3 over the last 10 games, LA still sits at 12th in the West. However, they’re only three games from 6th place aka the “coveted,” out-of-the-play-in spot.
