Khris Middleton + Malcolm Brogdon Lead Bucks Past Suns
Milwaukee first game after Jason Kidd's firing was a tough test, especially without Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup.
In his absence, interim coach Joe Prunty trotted out a starting group of Eric Bledsoe-Malcolm Brogdon-Sterling Brown-Khris Middleton-John Henson, outscored the Suns at almost every position.
Brogdon was extremely efficient from the field: career-high 32! pts on just 14 shots (hit 3 triples). His 32 was topped by Middleton's 35! - 13/19 from the field w/ only 2 triples. Middleton has been a a terror from around the foul line this season: on offense, he's nearing Top DOG territory.
The play of Milwaukee's complementary pieces is always a storyline - their inconsistencies might have contributed to Jason Kidd's dismissal.
Can Brogdon continue to thrive at the 2?
