NBA ROLE: ELITE, TWO-WAY FLOOR GENERAL

Jrue Holiday is an All-Star, two-way floor general guard; extremely skilled shot-maker & distributor who creates good looks for himself and teammates – patiently picks zones to exploit, makes the right play coming off screens (does a great job trapping defenders on his hip before coming to a decision: pass, floater, or layup), can hurt you in a variety of ways; drives the rim hard – likes finishing with the left (layup or flush), able to improvise if there’s traffic; innovative scorer – tight handle, Holiday can get the job done via reverses, soft giant killers, 3s on the move, etc; lock up defender: 1st-Team All-Defense in 2018 – doesn't give guards air space, has quick hands & feet; his team always plays at its peak when Holiday’s firing on all cylinders; dealt to Celtics! (2023) – (helps lead an) extremely talented starting five** – won second NBA championship in Boston! – can the C’s go back to back in 2025?

*huge barometer for success during Milwaukee’s title victory run in 2021
