Formerly projected as a “one & done,” Nick Richards greatly improved over 3 years at Kentucky, parlayed his progress into a spot in the league; momentum-shifting pivot who makes spectacular plays as a finisher & shot-blocker; mobile rim protector, can switch & stay effective v. multiple matchups; active rebounder, keeps the ball high after securing boards on the o-glass; needs to cut down on fouling & stay disciplined v. pump fakes whenever called upon; focusing on a better post-game (& movement in the paint) improves long-term potential; put in work and saw positive returns in Year 3: Richards continues to grow all-around, should make an even stronger impact in Coach Lee’s rotation in yr. 5
