NBA ROLE: HIGHLY CREATIVE, ALL-AROUND PG

Lonzo Ball possesses incredible basketball instincts, knows what it takes to play very effectively; ideal lead guard - unshakable demeanor: always in control w/ the rock - Ball has an entire cookbook of dishes in his back pocket...lookaheads, lobs, post entries, slice-thru bounces - wants to ramp up pace whenever possible; high-volume scorer from downtown - Lonzo’s outside game has evolved over the years: confident in range, consistently launches deep, stand still triples, has a variety of different step backs to create clean looks; decent midrange scorer w/ solid quick float game; good athlete w/ burst, can get to the rim after a couple dribbles (starting to attack the basket more often); very strong contributor on defense - constantly working: normally in the mix for deflections, steals & blocks, does well to fight over screens - welcomes challenges v. elite opponents; still some room to improve in terms of overall efficiency as a scorer; “hand in glove” fit w/ Bulls (prior to injury*) - vital foundational piece: Lonzo’s recovery is key to CHI’s future success

will miss the entire 2023-24 season (rehabbing after knee surgery)
