NBA ROLE: ÜBER-ATHLETIC, GO-TO OUTSIDE SCORER

One of the most athletic two guards in league history, Zach LaVine’s a bonafide All-Star w/ prolific scoring talent; pure outside threat: smooth, go-to bucket-getter – difficult, yet highly efficient shot-maker & rim attacker: uses standout athleticism to his advantage at all times; great disposition as a 1-on-1 scorer: Zach is explosive, yet calm & accurate – hard to contain off the dribble (tremendous speed), can get to the hole & finish w/ ease + is also very effective w/ (crossover) pull-ups from mid-range & deep; consistently hits tough looks: fading jumpers, against the grain runners, pull-up triples – has the handle to break his opponent down & get a bucket in multiple ways; great elevation when rising up, gets the most out of his J – ignites quick when in a rhythm from beyond the arc (one of the game’s premiere, high-volume snipers); automatic finisher below the rim (can easily knife into the lane & score w/ quick underhands & reverses), breathtaking finisher above it – top 1% hi-flyer w/ signature slams on the break (oops, 360ºs) & within the offense (baseline/backdoor flushes); has made positive strides on the defensive end (particularly on-ball), though needs to pay better attn to detail off-ball; All-Star trio w/DeMar DeRozan & Nikola Vucevic – unknown upside as a group; signed max deal w/ Bulls in 2022 – LaVine’s fully adjusted to go-to status but adapting more of an alpha mentality could push Chicago to new heights
