NBA ROLE: ÜBER-ATHLETIC, TWo-WAY PLAYMAKER

 

Similar to his twin bro, Ausar features some of the coldest, natural athleticism you’ll ever see out of a young prospect - two-way menace w/ elite potential; pretty nice shot mechanics, figures to make an imprint as a spot shooter, defender & transition finisher at the outset of his career; great rebounder (like Amen), frequently follows his teammates’ shots, tries to throw it down with power after misses; uncanny ability to “place the ball in” off tips & dump-off passes; spinning & winning: Thompson’s signature move = twisting dunks/spin lays? - great dexterity as a finisher; can play too fast at times, needs to slow the game down in half court sets; outside scoring could be twin’s calling card long-term: Ausar likes deep Js, can get his shot off and score around (or over) defenders w/ relative ease - will only get better as he understands & studies to the game at a higher level; eventual lead playmaker? Ausar has visions of playing 1-3 (w/ the game to match); seems to find various ways to score: easily translatable in the NBA; might take a little time to fully break out but Ausar’s worth monitoring to see how fast he’s able to pick up on the little things necessary to win games
