Australian import Jock Landale is a versatile finisher at the five spot - adequate pick & pop shooter, can convert short floaters and layups after straight dives to the rim; will do damage w/ jumper for years to come: good from 15-18 feet, has a high release that’s tough to contest; massive presence in the lane, Rockets should make a point to post Landale from time to time to create action for others; not the most nimble big, sometimes loses time v. smaller lineups; joined Houston after a productive season in Phoenix (2023) - Landale’s an important backup 5 behind Alperen Sengun
