Former Morehead State guard Xavier Moon has been grinding since going undrafted in 2017 - has a chance to earn a long-term deal in LA; profiles as more of a “traditional” lead guard who shines at getting his teammate easy shots: from PnR dimes to rolling bigs (delivers textbook pocket passes) to driving & kicking to open shooters; super speedy, athletic PG who blasts down any open floor - Moon could (eventually) slot right in as a key tempo pusher alongside some of LAC’s athletic wings (Norman Powell, Terrance Mann, etc). on the break; smart attacker who finds ways to put the ball in the basket: has a go-to, hanging pull-up from midrange + throws in a few runners for good measure; adds depth for Coach Lue in the backcourt
