Laker fans are hoping Max Christie’s a long-term solution at the 2/3 spot: Christie’s game features so much promise; “project” wing who’s a quick learner: got some nice, situational playing time as a rook; 3&D w/ upside - Christie’s got a steady, “straight up” release point on his J, does well camping out beyond the arc; 6’6 & athletic w/ hard-working tendencies on D: slides feet very well to cut off penetration, tries to sell out for blocks & steals (great timing); shouldn’t be pigeonholed into a single role: Christie has the (future) capability to score from all three levels (will continue to improve as a ball-handler, has shown some prowess at probing and get buckets from a variety of areas) - loves to attack closeouts; very solid ceiling in LA - Christie’s a prospect to monitor on both ends - Star UnderDOG potential w/ a more prominent role in Year 2?
