Brandon Clarke is an athletic & aggressive finishing forward; true problem “off-catching”: aggressive finisher off the catch - Clarke goes up strong every time, can finish above & below the basket; very good athlete w/ a nice quick jump ability - gets off the floor w/o a moment’s notice, able to reach difficult spots; A1 float game - signature shot: one-handed push from around 12-14 feet - Clarke’s mastered his touch from that range, can hit off the roll or on the move; hard worker, makes a point to improve - a steadier faceup & long-range attack will round everything out; throwback game: values the right shot, only takes what he knows he’ll make; disciplined rim protector, must learn to play around foul trouble + maintain correct positioning when defending bigger opponents; Clarke has nice footing in MEM’s young core: perfect ‘third’ big, finishes plays via Ja Morant, complements JJJ’s overall game
