The 2024 Sixth Man of the Year, Naz Reid is realizing his tremendous talent in Minnesota: undrafted 4/5 who can hold his own; features some new wave tendencies - versatile, athletic big w/ the ability to handle in the open court & score from deep; solid skills facing up & w/ back to the basket, can hit short hook shots, 18-ft. Js & extend out to three-point land; (very) effective shot release, though Reid doesn’t get much elevation; very solid dribble-handoffs, has a bevy of counters after faking, has some dope, quick-hitter crossovers (nasty in & out dribbles, shoots light & finishes strong in the paint); able to contribute defensively when locked in - candidate for blocks, improving rim protector (stays vertical); needs to continue focusing on efficiency; reached Star UnderDOG status in 2023, re-upped w/ T-Wolves: Reid’s a great backup to KAT & Rudy Gobert - nightly, inside-out presence for Coach Finch
