The 20th overall pick in 2020, Precious Achiuwa is a gifted, athletic big w/ some perimeter skills - Achiuwa can handle in space, is able to get all the way to the basket (off a few dribbles) from beyond the arc; extremely active, shot-blocking-catch & finish big, Achiuwa can finish up top or below the rim (w/ either hand); great motor & length as a defender; improving rebounder, normally well-positioned; steady scoring threat at all three levels, should trust faceup game more to maximize point production; great potential, landed w/ an organization known for developing talent; needs to decide whether to fully lean into his outside shot or find a better niche inside the arc instead; Star UnderDOG-level talent: Achiuwa should continue to develop nicely in New York’s system
