Keep an eye out for Keldon Johnson: an athletic, versatile forward who leads the way in San Antonio; tough customer on both ends - active in transition, doesn’t normally give up on plays defensively; able to slip in for baskets in the paint, utilizes crossover for leverage; goes really hard to the cup: tough to corral, Johnson has a few moves, including a nice floating push shot/runner - needs to keep developing offense w/ a live ball; highly confident in three-point shot - at the perfect intersection of great accuracy and volume (shot almost 40% on over 5 attempts/night in ‘21-’22); gets a lot of points off baseline cuts & energy on the glass (excellent rebounder, loves to pursue the ball); one of San Antonio’s top players*, go-to option (along w/ Wemby & D. Vassell) - Johnson gained great experience on Team USA in 2020(1) - immense potential: Keldon’s growing into his own as a lead threat in Coach Pop’s starting lineup
