KUZ! Kyle Kuzma is a talented, 6’9 forward who’s worked to round out his game after making an early name for himself in LA; offensive profile: deep bag of tricks ft. running hooks, pull-ups, floaters, euros & spot up triples; does well v. mismatches, uses jabs & fakes to get defenders to overcommit; picked up some nice “role player” tendencies during LAL’s playoff runs - Kuz normally makes a point to hustle, rebounds extremely well & works hard defensively; sometimes settles for tough looks: streaky outside shooter, can fall in love w/ hoisting too many triples; improved passer* in open space, makes a point to hit open teammates after creating an advantage after penetrating or on the perimeter; versatile forward in Washington - scoring is a given, Kuzma’s developed as a true talent in every other area - reached Top DOG status: All-Star at some point?
